Welcome!

Dial Wood Carriage Driving for the Disabled offers opportunities for disabled people to learn carriage driving, receive riding therapy and learn horse care, or simply come and enjoy the fresh air and be taken for a carriage drive. We are situated in Flockton - a rural setting between Huddersfield and Wakefield.

Dial Wood was started in 1998 and 2023 was our 25th year! We celebrated with old and new friends at our home stables, with a tombola, handy-pony course, pony petting and Afternoon Tea. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in the last 25 years, and we are grateful for the continued generosity that keeps us delivering great experiences for our participants.

To care for our volunteers and participants, we kindly ask that anyone suffering symptoms of Covid-19 or Flu that you do not enter the yard. Please do let us know if you cannot attend any sessions.
